Can you believe it’s already March?!! I love the energy this month as we spring forward, the days get longer and there’s a sense of renewed energy and excitement in the air.
This weeks conversation is with Christie Mann. She is an amazing, brilliant force. It’s only fitting that my conversation with her is launching the week of International Women’s Day. Christie is a spiritual psychologist, author, speaker and Kundalini Yoga & Meditation teacher.
She recently launched a series of children’s books, The Adventures of Lil’ Sass, with a focus on emotional wellness. Her work is for children AND adults.
Christie is changing the conversation around emotional wellness. She’ll be launching an offering in the spring for adults, so make sure to follow her and connect with her so you’ll be the first to know. I’m so honored and excited to share her message, her wisdom and her energy with all of you here.
This entire episode is packed with awesomeness. I know that you will love this content and have so many takeaways after watching. I will for sure have Christie back as this conversation is one we need to have often. Most of us are not taught emotional wellness and the more we talk about this, the easier it gets to express it fully.
Here are some of my favorite insights:
❤️Why it’s essential to acknowledge the feeling, allow it to come up and then express it in a healthy way.
❤️How to make friends with anger, loneliness, joy, with all emotions. Life is about feeling ALL of these emotions, it’s part of the human experience.
❤️Why it’s ok for things to be messy and not perfect and why emotional wellness is needed in order to love and accept the messiness.
❤️Ways to process emotion. It’s not always about crying it out. There are a number of ways to process and move the energy.
❤️Why stuck emotion in the body is the cause of dis-ease.
Excited about this conversation because we are not trained to allow and express our own emotions or how to hold space for another to have emotion. The truth is we are not able to fully hold and be with another person’s emotions until we are able to process our own. We want to be there emotionally for our partners, our children and our friends. This starts with developing the muscle of emotional wellness with ourselves.
I feel so strongly that this conversation is needed, now more than ever. Please share it with someone. Let’s help spread this message and get this movement out there.
As Christie says, “Cape on!’ friends. Let’s all be part of this movement. Go connect with Christie and Lil Sass here:
