2 weeks left of 2018! What a year, right? I love to take the final two weeks of the year and spend time with family and friends, reflecting on the year and setting goals and intentions for the next year.
I’m excited to share a ritual I do for a year end review. I typically spend about 2 hours doing a year end review with 4 simple inquiries. I believe doing this clears out what is not serving you and preps the way for a better, more aligned new year.
Whether you are building business or a life or both this exercise will set you up for success and help you start living and growing an intentional life.
I highly recommend making some time to complete this year and all your accomplishments with honor and gratitude. We often spend tons of time creating vision boards and intentions for the new year. I love this and think this is necessary AND doing the completion is just as important.
Alright, so grab a journal, light a candle, play some soft music and let’s get started.
1. What were you top 3 successes? What are you most proud of that happened this year? What did you accomplish?
2.What were the 3 biggest lessons you learned. I don’t like the world failure as I believe we learn from failing. So think of some ways that you fell short or failed. What lessons did you learn from those shortcomings or perceived disappointments?
3.Pick 1-3 limiting beliefs or thoughts that are no longer serving you. Which ones are you ready to clear and release.
4.What are you most grateful for this year?
It’s that simple. Allow yourself to feel gratitude for the year and honor all your experiences and your growth. And here’s to all of us completing the year with love as we commit to growing even more next year.
