November is one of my favorite months. Not just because it’s the month I entered this world ? but I love the Scorpio energy of November, the transformation and the opportunity to look deep within ourselves.
It’s such a gift to be able to transform in any moment! If life isn’t going as we plan, we can simply recalibrate. Of course this takes work and energy and time but it’s so worth it and it’s the privilege of being human.
What I love most is that November offers this dichotomy of deep intense energy AND a sense of gratitude. With Thanksgiving (in the states) being in November it gives us a whole month to practice gratitude and feel gratitude.
For me a gratitude practice is essential. I love waking up each morning and offering gratitude for my day before it even starts. I then end the day saying out loud or writing the 5 things that happened that day that I’m most grateful for.
I’m sharing 5 tips each Friday in November with simply gratitude hacks and tools that I’ve used for years. My intention is to share with everyone and for each person to find several that work for them and implement year round. An attitude of gratitude is essential to living a life with intention and impact. Even when things are rough and you’re facing challenges you can always find something to be grateful for. What we put our energy on expands, so it’s crucial, especially when times are harder, to build the gratitude muscle and allow that to grow.
As I sit here writing this I’m looking out over the blue water of the ocean, the sun shining bright and Snatam Kaur is singing over Alexa. After a challenging week last week this is exactly where I need to be. I am grateful for this moment.
I’m also grateful for YOU, the reader. Coming here to read and get inspired. I love hearing from you that you’re excited to build a life that has deep meaning, joy and purpose. Because, as I always say, the world needs you. You are a part of this landscape, your contribution is necessary. It’s time to start creating, start growing and start expressing. And of course feeling gratitude daily for you past, the current moment and where you’re headed.
